Meet Busy Lizzie, a stunning baby of around 12 month old, sadly removed from her last home by the authorities and lucky for her found her way to us!

With the right intros she is now in foster with another Shep, has met a cat who she plonked her paw across to hold him still for a better look much to his disgust, she would chase if they were to run outside. Met horses who she is a little unsure of but no aggression shown.

Think she would be ok around older / teenage children as she can be a little wary of meeting new people and may try to mouth. This is being worked on and improving all the time.

Sadly Lizzy has had to have some X-rays on her hips which have come back as being not very good, they have been sent away for a second opinion so we will just wait and see. She is not in any pain or discomfort and is 100% a lively, happy pup.

Lizzy will stay in foster for now until we make a decision about her hips which hopefully will be to keep up the exercise to build muscle around the joints to increase stability there.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
