Yarna is 11 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Good with children, selective with other dogs and no to cats. This is what our volunteer had to say about her:
“Yarna is a bundle of joy. She is very treat/food orientated and was putty in my hands when a treat was offered. She’s not great with loud noises and is very vocal when she spots another dog.
I took Yarna out on a harness and although she is strong on the lead at first she soon settled down when I had a treat in my hand. However, her focus is easily taken by site of another dog or livestock. She wasn’t socialised as a pup and will need work in that area.
She’s in great condition and is walked regularly by a dog walker.
The situation she finds herself in is extremely sad, her owner has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and was given months to live in January. She wants to make sure Yarna has a good home to go too before she passes, as she herself adopted Yarna 9 years ago.
Yarna is 11 going on 3, and is a very healthy, lively girl, that will need a home where she is the only pet.”
