This young man is Duke who is 18 months old. Currently entire he is microchipped we are told and vaccinated. Duke was purchased 6 weeks ago through an advert in the paper. His then owner, an older lady, said she could not cope with him as she had other dogs as well. Sadly poor Duke does not seem to have been out and about or socialised in any way. You have an 18 month old puppy who is going to need a calm and confident home to introduce him to the world and other dogs when out.
Duke’s current owners run a pub which is sadly the wrong environment for this scared young man. He is very nervous as you can imagine, and barks at everything he is unsure of, but has not actually bitten. He is currently living with 2 children with whom is fine, but older children would be more ideal. We are told a no to cats and unknown with livestock.
There have been no issues over food or toys, but this young man will need the training he has missed out on as well, lead walking, recall and such. In some ways he is a blank canvas for someone to develop.
Duke has been adopted.
