Nell is very sadly being rehomed as her mum is no longer able to look after her due to a serious medical condition. She has been looked after by family but they will be returning to working from the office rather than home so Nell will be left long hours which is not fair.
Nell has been in the same home since a puppy and was three years old on 31st of March this year. She is neutered, vaccinated, chipped, flea and worm treated. Nell is in excellent physical condition, although a little overweight.
Nell absolutely loves people and has never shown any aggression. She hasn’t lived nor had any real contact with small children. We were told Nell is strong on the lead. They were advised to try a halti, so when our volunteer took her out for a walk with the halti and although not entirely happy, she walked quite well. With more practice and encouragement, she should be fine.
Nell likes to be around people, but won’t do well left on her own. She would benefit from further training, boundaries and more exercise. With sensible introduction she will be able to live with another dog.
Nell has been adopted.
