Introducing Monkey!

This little girl is an absolute delight!

Monkey was sadly in the pound after being picked up as a stray.

She is a very friendly and enjoys lots of fuss and attention. She’s a petite little girl with bags of character.

Monkey loves to be kept busy, she loves adventures and she really gets a lot out of her walks. She loves to sniff and explore everything and everywhere.
We think that this pup would love an activity such as agility, scent work or man trailing etc.

Monkey has been fine with her food, treats and toys, she loves to play but she also has an off switch and will go to her bed when told.

This pup like all youngsters will require some training, boundaries and rules setting but she is an intelligent girl who learns very quickly.

Monkey has been out and about since being with us and she hasn’t shown any reaction to traffic, other dogs, cyclists etc she needs a bit of lead work but don’t they all?!
We think that with the right introductions that Monkey could live alongside another dog.

We cannot cat test.

As we have no history we have to say older children only.
We are looking for a home that has the time and experience to give this young girl what she needs, the ability to train her and give her the life that she deserves.

This girl could give Spiderman a run for his money….she can jump! We have witnessed her clearing a 6ft fence with ease so any interested homes will need to be aware of this.

She recently spent 3 days in foster and did show some anxiety when she was left so this will also need to be considered for her next home.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
