UPDATE JANUARY 2026
Hi Milo here and I’m actively seeking a new place to call my own.
I am 3 and I’m a Mali cross. Some people call me “Dinky Milo” because I’m a bit short – quite rude I say but if you are looking for a short guy them I’m your man!
I’m a good boy, I love people and I enjoy my walks, I wear one of those headcollar things and I don’t mind it at all.
I love toys and I’d play all day if I could, I also like treats …any treats I’m not fussy at all.
What I don’t like is other dogs, the girls are kind of ok it’s the boys that I’m really not a fan of but I will ignore them when I’m out as I focus on my sniffing.
I wouldn’t be great around cats either – I just know I wouldn’t.
I think I’d be ok to live with older kids especially if they played football with me, they would however have to let me win a few times.
So here we are I’m (Dinky) Milo and I’m looking for a home please – paws crossed!
Please meet Milo who is a dinky little Mali cross.
Milo is neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped. He also had his dew claws off at the same time as his baubles.
Milo was in the council pound and we were asked to take him in, of course we said yes.
This lovely little guy has been no trouble at all since he moved in.
Milo isn’t happy being in the kennels despite everyone’s best efforts, he needs a home, some comfort and some love.
Milo is good around food, treats and toys. He is currently on a grain free diet due to having a sensitive tummy and he also needs to gain a little weight.
He can be reactive to other dogs while he’s out, more often males rather than females but he does not like dogs in his personal space, we think that Milo needs to be the only dog.
Milo is a no to cats and as always as he’s an ex poundie we have to say older children only due to us not having any information about his past.
This pleasant little boy has met quite a few volunteers and he loves everyone and can be walked by all of them with no issues.
Ideally we are looking for a home that has the time and patience to allow this little guy to settle in, he thrives on human company so again a home where he wouldn’t be left for long periods.
Milo is now ready for a home with a sofa where he can just chill, he really is a sweet little dog.
