This lovely girl is Kali who is a GSD cross Mali and has been in her home since a pup. Kali is 3 years old, she is microchipped but her vaccinations are out of date and she is not spayed. Being rehomed due to her mum’s physical health and the son having medical issues which means he can lash out.
Kali is good with older children in general and we are told she is good with other dogs off lead but can act reactively when on lead. Our volunteer saw no major reaction. Kali is also good with cats. She does need some lead training as she can pull on her slip lead, but has recall and basic commands.
Not keen on the vets and is muzzled, but travels well and is used to being left for a few hours. No issues over food or toys. Can be triggered by moving cars but may be more to do with not getting enough exercise or stimulation at present.
Greeted our volunteer with a bark but nothing more when she went into the home. Actually pretty much ignored her but was not bothered by being stroked. Very loving with her mum.
If you have experience of the breed, Kali will probably fit into your home with relevance ease as she seems to be a well rounded young lady with good manners who just needs more exercise and stimulation in her life.
