This is the lovey Callie who is a 5 year spayed bitch and lived with Spike who is also in need of a new home.

Callie is good with children and other dogs but can get excited with other dogs but calms down fairly quickly. She  also gets excited at meeting new people but settles quickly. A definite no to cats!

Callie is excellent on the lead and has recall and knows her basic commands. No aggression or possession issues with food or toys.

Our assessor described both dogs as being healthy, friendly and excitable in a friendly way. Both dogs are very good on their commands and responded to their owner outside every time.

Spike and Callie’s owner was devastated at having to find them a new home but due to a divorce and move of house he is unable to take them with him and moves at by the end of May.

Callie has been in foster and settled very well as you can see from the photos. She has been of a group walk and loved every minute of it.

All this girl wants is a family to call her own again please and she will return your love and care with all the doggy love she can muster!

Can you help please?

Our lovely Callie is settling with her forever family.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
