Say hello to Balto, this lovely lad is 7yrs old, neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped.

Although he has been in his present home since he was 4 month old we are told he is unknown around children, other dogs or cats.

He greeted our volunteer in an excited way with kisses and waggy tail but then settled down. He is initially strong on the lead but then settles.Has never been off lead so no idea about recall.
No idea what he is like at the vet as we were told they do not have one.

Seems to be ok around livestock, does not like fireworks and loud noises. Our volunteer did notice that Balto was over licking himself all over and some of his fur is missing. He has not been seen by a vet.

Can anyone give this lad room in their home?

Balto is now with us but really not enjoying his time in our kennels.

He did have a brief spell in a foster home but was allowed to bond far too. much with the woman in the home and did bite the man as his protectiveness was not managed correctly.

Whilst in foster he did receive vet treatment for his skin and all is now sorted.

Balto is a lovely lad who with the correct home who can give him time and confidence he will blossom.

Balto has been adopted.
