Have a look at this girl, her name is Bella and we think she is Akita X German Shepherd. We are told she is 2yrs this year, not yet spayed, having her second vacs this week and is also chipped.

Bella was taken in by her present owner as she was being abused in her last home and then her owner was sent to prison and Bella needed out so a lucky escape if you ask me, bless her.

She is not keen on children and has been known to growl at them, has never been socialised with other dogs and has been known to rush up to them and try and be dominant so this will need working on, no to cats.

Knows her basic commands but will lose concentration when out if sees another dog.

The kind man who has taken Bella in suffers quite badly with arthritis and is struggling greatly with her as he never intended getting a dog because of his condition but could not leave her where she was, so she is very urgent if anyone can help.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
