Meet Bella who is about 3 years of age. Unknown as she a foreign microchip which has never been registered! We were asked to take Bella in having been picked up as a stray. It is obvious she has been used for breeding poor girl. It is obvious Bella has not seen much of the world as she is quite nervous of new situations, but not shown an ounce of malice towards people.
This is what our volunteer had to say about her on first meeting:
“This beautiful girl has just arrived with us from the pound. We don’t know much about her yet. She’s very anxious loves to sniff and walk, not keen to stand still for long and don’t think she really knows her name just yet. She’s good with other dogs and has the makings of a super girl once she’s settled.”
Bella has now been spayed and is building up her weight nicely. She is currently in foster where she is super with people, including visitors, but so far her dog socialisation needs further work.
Children 7 upwards only as we do not know her history (but doubt she would be a problem) and unknown with cats. Bella will need a quiet and calm home that can introduce her to the world in her own time so she can gain confidence.
Bella has been adopted.
