Please say a big hello to this beautiful girl!

Betty found herself in the stray pound, we were asked to help so we did just that.
This gorgeous girl is still a baby at a year old, she is chipped but we have no vaccination or season history.

Betty is your typical pup, she’s full of beans and wants to be involved in everything that’s going on. She is learning the basic commands and doing really well.
This girl adores people, she has the most loving nature and likes to give out kisses every 10 seconds.

She has met our volunteers and she loves them all, she really is a sweetheart.
Betty is a bit of a puller on the lead, she probably hasn’t had any training but in the short time that she’s been with us she’s already learning.

She is inquisitive of other dogs while she’s out but not in an aggressive way and she is easily distracted. She has shown no reaction to cyclists, joggers or just general passers by, she’s far too busy sniffing and exploring.

Betty has a good appetite and she is currently on 3 meals a day due to her being on the lean side, she has shown no issues around food and she will bring you the empty bowl once she’s finished eating.

Betty has not been cat tested but she does have a high prey drive so maybe she would give chase. She may, with careful introduction be ok to live with a neutered male and we would happily place her with older children.

This little girl deserves to experience what a good home really is all about, she is desperate for attention, love and care. She is a real gem and just waiting for the right people/home to come along.

Betty has been adopted.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
