Blue was born 6.8.18 and is a Dutch Herder. His microchip said he was a Sharpei! He is currently entire but is microchipped and vaccinated.

We were asked by another rescue to take this lad in:

“We were contacted his morning about this stunning chappie. He has been left there by the owner as he cannot meet his needs. He is a very highly trained Dutch Herder meaning an experienced placement is imperative. In the wrong hands a dog like him could be very difficult.”

We are advised that Blue has been trained as a personal protection dog having been contacted by the trainer who sold him. Apparently, his owner had been given training and knew he should go back to them if there was a problem however decided to leave him at the kennels!

Blue is a lovely lad and we have not seen an ounce of malice. He is typical of his breed and is a high energy dog who likes his toys. He will need a very special home that understands the training he has had, and can give him the exercise and stimulation he needs. Could make a super working dog!

Blue went to Kent Police Dog Section and is now a licensed Police Dog!
