This little girl came into our care as a ‘welfare case’ and it is clear to see why.

Cassie is a very petite little Shepherd and we think she is around 4 years old.
She is a beautiful girl inside and out.

We do not know what this girl has been through but it is very clear that she has had a recent litter.

She was quite timid when she arrived, underweight and also had mange.
We took her straight to our vets where she received some treatment for her skin, she was very well behaved despite being in some discomfort.

Cassie travels really well, she has a very good appetite and has shown no issues around food.

She’s unsure what toys are for, probably never had any but she does have a teddy that she takes to bed with her for comfort.

She walks well on a lead and she’s starting to enjoy being out and about.

We haven’t been able to dog test her due to her skin condition but she’s seen the other dogs at a distance and shown no reaction. Cassie isn’t cat tested and we would only place her with older children as we have no information regarding her past.
Ideally we are looking for a calm and quiet home for this little lady as we do think she’s already had a lot to deal with in her short life .

She thrives on affection and does have slight separation anxiety, it would be nice for her to have someone who is home during the day to keep her company.

Cassie has been adopted.
