May I introduce the rather lovely Vidar who is a GSD cross Akita. He is 3 years, neutered and microchipped and his vaccinations are being done. Vidar is an exceptionally friendly dog however we would not rehomed him with young children as he is quite big and boisterous, probably also...

  9. Alfie

Well what can I say about this lad? We had a phone call from a vet to say Alfie had been handed in and needed a rescue a space. The vet said Alfie was a German Shepherd cross Collie! No comment, but of course we could not leave him without...

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
