Chase is just 1 year old and obviously a GSD cross. He is currently entire but is vaccinated and microchipped. We are told Chase is good with children 9 years up and other dogs. He will bark when on lead but just wants to play. Unknown with cats.
Chase is being rehomed as his owner is now having to work long hours and it is not fair him being left alone so long and also means he is not getting enough exercise or training a lad of his age needs.
This is what our volunteer had to say about him:
“Chase loves to chew on bones. Not treat orientated. When on a walk Chase is very excited and distracted by everything rather than focusing on his owner and training. When Chase stayed with a friend and their GSD he responded to training and walked well on the lead. His current owner finds him very strong and tends to walk him late at night.
Chase is still very young and excitable but he has a lovely soft nature. Rarely barks in the house but has started barking at cars. He’s stayed with another dog for a week and by the end of the week was settle and loved the routine of company, attention and regular walks. He lives with a 14 and 15years old and has met a 9 year old and is fine. The owner is concerned if Chase met a toddler that he may knock them over, but no aggression.
Chase needs a family/owner who can give him more time, walk him more and spend time with consistent training. He is a bright dog who will love being trained properly and has a loving nature.”
Chase has been rehomed by his owner.
