Well what can I say about this young lady. One of our RSPCA contacts asked if we could help:
“I’m with the Croydon dog warden and they have a nervous young white GSD. Her 7 days is up tomorrow and she’s looking for a place for her to go. Wondered if you can help.
Found curled up on train tracks. Very scared.”
“So the kennels got Clarabelle the white shep out today (the kennels have named her after a character in Thomas the Tank Engine as she was found on the railway line).
She was really good, manager got her out and she came out the kennel fine. Woofy with anyone else not holding her lead but no growling or anything, just typical shepherd woofy-ness.
Her seven days are up today…so she is free to go whenever….if you can help in any way.”
So please meet Daisy May, as she has been renamed. No microchip but she acts and sounds like a youngster so we are guessing about 1 year of age. She will of course be microchipped and her vaccinations will be started.
Daisy May arrived full of bounce and play and has been absolutely fine with the few people she has met. Needs some more doggy manners but no aggression. This lovely young lady will just need a GSD experienced home to give her the care she deserves.
