Fenris will be 3 in November. She is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. She is unknown with children and cats but very playful with other dogs and in her previous home lived with another dog. Fenris has been in her current home for 1.5 years and is being rehomed as her owners are struggling with her separation anxiety which has got so severe she now does not want to leave the house, but will get into the car.
When she does go out she is good on lead but her recall is not established presently. No issues over food or toys.
Fenris’ problem appears to have started after staying at boarding kennels while her owners were on holiday, although they are told nothing untoward happened during her stay and owners had access to a webcam. Her issues are beyond their experience and they cannot afford a behaviourist which she really needs.
Fenris was very excited meeting our volunteer and is a very sweet and affectionate girl. She really needs a rural home with land to start and the company of at least one other dog that can give her confidence to start enjoying life outside of the home again.
Can you help her?
Fenris has gone back to her original rescue in the US.
