Please check out this handsome boy.

This is Flint who is sadly another poor soul from the stray pound.

We believe that Flint is around 2 years of age, he is chipped and still entire.

This lovely lad was very thin when he first arrived but he’s now slowly gaining the much needed weight, he’s got a good appetite and he’s starting to look much better.
Flint was quite nervous at first but it hasn’t taken him long to realise that he is safe, he’s now less anxious and has even started to play.

He started off having just short walks to help build up his stamina, we have recently started taking him out for longer periods and he’s doing fine.

We think that Flint would benefit from being the only dog in the household and that he would be ok with older kids ( 12+).

We cannot cat test.

Flint is looking for a calm, quiet home where he will be allowed the time to settle and to re-adjust and also a home that understands the needs of a rescue dog like Flint.

We have seen a huge change in this boy in a short time so we know that in the right home with the right people he would flourish.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
