Introducing Hati.

This stunning pup was found straying along with another dog, they were taken to the pound but sadly no one came to collect them so they both came to us.

Hati is a beautiful semi coated Shepherd, we believe that he is only around 10 months old and he is still entire.

This gorgeous boy has a very loving nature and he has shown no issues around his food or toys.

Hati hasn’t had much in the way of training, he pulls quite hard on the lead and he doesn’t know any basic commands, he is however very eager to learn and has already shown that he will work for treats.

We introduced Hati to the big wide world and we began to realise that this poor boy hasn’t experienced very much at all so he has some catching up to do.
During his walk Hati did settle down and he started to take in all the sights and sounds, his pulling eased and he was much calmer.

Unfortunately Hati took an interest in the passing vehicles and he wanted to give chase, after several corrections this did get better but it is something that any potential adopter needs to be aware of.

Hati has met lots of new people and he hasn’t put a paw wrong, he is just a loving bouncy pup.

As with most poundies we have no background history and so for this reason we have to say that we would only rehome him with older children, we cannot cat test but he has shown a high prey drive. Up to now he has been ok with the few dogs that he has met so maybe he could with the right intros live with another dog.

Hati has been adopted.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
