“I am a vet and working currently at Vets4Pets. I am reaching to you with hope that you can help us.  We have had a GSD surrendered to our practice in today. During routine booster vaccination appointment owner admitted they had mental health issues, not coping with looking after the dog and they are thinking about euthanasia. When we refused to put health young dog to sleep owner mentioned euthanising the dog themselves at home (!).

As you can imagine it was quite disturbing situation. We did not have a choice and as a practice we made the decision for the owner to surrender the dog to us.
We have the dog here at the practice but we need accommodation asap.

We would greatly appreciate any help or further contacts. Please find pictures attached, Jasper is 3yrs old neutered male, up to date on vaccinations(including rabies) and parasite prevention. He is not on any medication, no chronic illnesses. He is a lovely boy, can be bit shy. He did not show any signs of aggression.”

So please welcome Jasper! Jasper has been friendly with everyone he has met and we are told he is good with children but we would say older children as we do not know his full history. In the short time he has been with us he is interested and amicable with bitches, but does not like dogs in his face. Unknown with cats.

Jasper would love a home who has GSD experience and really would like a home asap as he is obviously not used to kennels and would be good to get him in a home please. Can you help Jasper?
