Jerry is about 18 months old and now neutered. He is vaccinated and microchipped.
Jerry was found by his owner in November last year, frightened of his own shadow, wedged under a caravan. He was taken to some kennels where nobody knew how to approach or handle him and was quickly moved to the kennels we use where he was bought out of his shell and when he left he was very friendly with all the staff but wary of people he didn’t know.
His owner took Jerry home recently in the hopes he could be their forever dog but Jerry was not impressed with their young son and seemed to be guarding so went back to the kennels. He now is in foster however.
Jerry is very calm but nervous of people he doesn’t know, has been good with other dogs, good to walk and no aggression with food.
Jerry will need a very experienced home that can be calm but confident with him whilst maintaining leadership. An older dog to show him the ropes could be an advantage.
Do you have what it takes?
Jerry’s foster dad has made him a permanent addition!
