Meet Jess.

Jess sadly has just lost her elderly owner bless her so feels like she is in no mans land at the moment. She is sadly home alone with family visiting her on a regular basis but still spending too much time alone.

She is not vaccinated and it is unknown whether she is spayed or not, she is chipped.

Jess is good with children of all ages we are told and gets on fine with other dogs, unknown with cats but will chase livestock.

Our assessor found Jess to be a friendly girl, her coat appears a little dull at the moment and she is being treated for fleas, I imagine she feels pretty low after losing her dad who was always there to now spending considerably time on her own.

Can anyone offer this older girl a foster or forever home and give her back the companionship she misses so much.

Jess is now in foster – updates to follow.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
