May I introduce Kiki, as we have named her.

We were asked to take her in having been picked up as a stray in a terrible state and underweight. Kiki looks like she has been used as a breeding machine poor girl. We believe she is about 3 years old. Microchipped and vaccinations to be restarted. Not spayed and obviously season history unknown.

Kiki is in foster with other dogs and she is both people and dog friendly. She is very clingy to foster mum at the moment so will need a home where she is with her people most of the time. Confident she will be fine with children but as unknown, we have to say older children only.

Kiki will be looking for a home to give her the life she deserves rather than being used as a cash machine.

The first 2 photos show the state she arrived at the other rescue’s kennels and the 3rd, her getting a much needed bath!

Kiki has been adopted by her foster dad.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
