Please meet Kobi who is our latest arrival.

Kobi found himself in the pound, unwanted and unloved.

Kobi is a stunning GSD x Husky and he is two years old. He has started his vaccinations, he is microchipped and he is still entire.

This lovely boy has already shown us just how good he is.

Kobi is fine around his food and he has a good appetite. We have seen no issues with or around toys and he really does love to play.

Kobi is a bit of a puller on the lead but he isn’t a strong boy, he is already learning not to pull with the help of a few treats and a lot of praise.

We have seen no issues or reactions around other dogs and the few that he has met have been greeted in a very polite manner so, after the correct introduction he may be ok to live alongside another dog.

Kobi does seem to have a high prey drive, we cannot cat test but we will have to say that he is a no to cats.

As Kobi is an ex poundie we have to say older children only due to the fact that we have no history.

This boy is very sociable, he loves to meet people and he wags that big curly tail as soon as someone mentions his name. He does have a tendency to jump up but again we are working on this and he’s already starting to keep his 4 paws on the ground.

Kobi hasn’t been phased by anything, he seems to take everything in his stride.
We are looking for an active home for this boy where he gets the exercise that he requires and the training.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
