Since arriving from the pound Lexi has been great with everyone she has met, she greets people in a very friendly manner but does jump up to say hello.
We think she is around 4 years old. She is microchipped and now fully vaccinated. Unknown if spayed – she has now come into season so can be spayed in three months time (Aug 24)
No to cats or young children as we have no history and no way of testing.
She is a little nervous and will check in with us when out on walks but has ignored traffic, cyclists, horses and people.
We have walked her with all of the other kennel dogs and she was a little unsure of how to greet them but soon settled and walks well with them. She sometimes barks and gets excited when she sees other dogs out and about but not aggressively and is easily managed.
We will be socialising her more in the coming weeks to see if it’s possible for her to live with another dog.
Lexi went into foster but was sadly returned the next day as she showed signs of separation anxiety when the man left the house and the woman didn’t feel it was something they could deal with. She did settle after about an hour, so we need someone who is prepared to work with this issue. We have a little bit more info now of her in the home. She is house trained and settled when everyone was with her. Fine with older children and showed no issues around toys or food.
Lexi has now been adopted.
