This handsome lad is Loki who is 2 years old. He is microchipped and neutered and told fully vaccinated. Been in his home since a pup and sadly being rehomed due to a marital split and the family home being sold and unsuitable accommodation going forward.

Loki was rehomed through another rescue but was returned for biting a male which is totally out of character but from having assessed, probably pushed meeting rather than giving Loki space; too much, too soon.

He is good with older children, dogs and cats. This is what our volunteer had to say about him:

“When I went into the house I was greeted by a typical bark from Loki. He was in a crate and has been crate trained. When he was let out he continued barking and was apprehensive/nervous about approaching me. I ignored him and he soon came up for a quick sniff before backing away. Five minutes later he accepted a treat from me and I was his new best friend. He was happy to take more from me and even tried sticking his nose in my pocket.

I took Loki for a short walk, he didn’t pull and was happy to come along with me.

Loki is in good condition, ears, nails and coat good, ideal weight.

I think Loki will be a lovely dog as long as the initial approach is carried out in a reasonable manner.”
