Lola was 7 in February. She is microchipped but her vaccinations are out of date and she is not spayed. Been in the same home since a pup but being rehomed due to owner’s ill health.
Lola would be ok living with older children, and despite having lived with a chihuahua until she was 2, she is not good with other dogs and reactive on lead. A no to cats as well.
Can typically be protective putting herself between her owner and approaching people, and doesn’t like the postman. Needs lead work and no recall as never walked off lead but has basic commands. Will put her head on toys to say ‘mine’.
This is what our volunteer had to say about her:
“Lola greeted us like old friends when we arrived. She is very well behaved but reactive on the lead. She has only been exercised on a tracking lead and rarely been let off. I am sure with some effort she could be taught to walk on a slack lead next to her owner but no one has tried. She will need someone experienced and patient.
She seems healthy and well cared for. For the right person she would make a wonderful pet.”
Lola has been rehomed by her owner.
