Mia will be 6 in October. She is microchipped but unsure on vaccinations and she is not spayed. She has been in her home since a pup but is being rehomed as her owner is working long hours meaning she is being left alone and not getting the time she deserves.

Mia is good with children over 5 and lives with a Westie, however has not been properly socialised with dogs outside of the home and so can be reactive when out. Unknown with cats. Mia id good on lead, has recall and basic commands. No issues over food or toys.

“She was very friendly when I arrived, didn’t bark and came straight over to me. Took treats very well, sat and waited and was gentle when taking them. She looked well fed and responded to her owners commands.”

Can you give Mia a home please?

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
