This young lady is Mia who is just 3 years of age. Mia came to us having been picked up as a stray and appears from her microchip she has been passed around quite a bit.

She has obviously been bred from poor girl. She will have her vaccinations restarted and has now been spayed. Currently has a mark on her nose where  the dog warden poled her! Not sure why as Mia has been lovely with everyone she has met, and all the dogs she is in foster with. She has even met a cat and was just interested. Older children only because we do not know her history.

Mia will need a home with experience of the Herder breed that understands she will need mental stimulation as well as physical exercise, otherwise this super girl is such a sweetheart she will fit into most homes with little fuss.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
