This young lady is Nova who is just 1 year old. She is a GSD cross Akita we are told. Nova is not yet spayed . Her vaccinations are out of date we think but she is microchipped. This is what our volunteer has to say about her:
“Nova is a proper livewire, who has had little or no training, she’s all over the place, and when she eventually stands still next to you on the settee, she gives you a great big sloppy kiss. She needs somebody to take the time to take her training, and then to keep up that training, so that she understands what’s acceptable, and what’s not. Having said that, she will be a wonderful friend to somebody, who gives her the time.
I saw her with the 2 1/2 year old, and the baby doesn’t leave her alone, pushing and pulling her, as well as continually chasing her. If I was the pup, I’d have told the baby off by now, it’s a wonder she hasn’t, but it’s not her fault, she was very gentle when they let the baby give her treats.
She’s not big for a GSD x Akita, but never the less, well proportioned and well looked after.”
Nova is being rehomed as her owner is concerned she may snap at the young child annoying her.
Can you give Nova what she needs please?
Nova’s owners have decided to keep her.
