Another poor baby finding herself in the pound! She was microchipped but no joy in being reclaimed bless her and she was terrified of what was happening.

Pearl was born April 2024. A beautiful girl who is full of life and fun but a real sweetheart. No young children as we do not know her history, and she is not keen on other dogs in her space but can be distracted with her ball.

Pearl was adopted but has sadly come back to the rescue as she became over bonded with her person meaning she was being very reactive towards other dogs when out walking.

This lovely little whirlwind is full of energy and potential. Her favourite things are cuddles and, above all, her ball! We tried some scent work in the barn. It took Pearl a little while to understand the game, but after a few attempts she caught on quickly and began indicating where her hidden ball was.

Pearl could thrive in scent work, mantrailing or tracking, and might even shine at agility with someone willing to help her learn and develop. She’d be happiest as the only dog in the home where she can enjoy having her own space.

Pearl will need a very experienced home with the breed to help her overcome these issues, but definitely a loyal little girl.
