Raffi’s post said unless a rescue space can be found before 9am tomorrow morning, Raffi’s time is up and he will be pts. We were full but the pound pullers had emergency boarding available for a few weeks if a rescue could step up and take him on. Of course we could not let him die.
So please welcome Raffi, who is a Mali cross GSD, born June 2023 and who is microchipped but it was not registered. He was very skinny so we got some weight on him before vaccinating and neutering. Raffi does have pannus but it is easily managed.
“Raffi is a very smart dog who’s always willing to learn new tricks which one of our volunteer does with him. Raffi did get rehomed but he decided to resource guard with dad and started to become over protective with mum as mum was spending more time with him. The family were wiling to work with Raffi but with a young teenage at home it was best for Raffi to come back. Raffi needs to be only dog and adult only home with people who can work with his issues.”
