“I have a 2 year old GSD that needs rehoming, he has been dumped on me, I run a boarding kennels in Essex. His Dad is ex army & mum ex police, Would be perfect for working, he’s only just turned 2 this month.

His name is Rex, he came to me with 3 bitches for a 2 week holiday end Dec 2024. Around the end of Jan the owner phoned to say he doesn’t want them & to find them a home, he only wanted the young Rotti back, however, that changed & since beginning of February he has totally ignored all calls, messages, every kind of communication he has ignored, even when you see him online in WhatsApp he will completely ignore you, we have begged, pleaded to just speak with us & he’s having none of it, I have rehomed the 3 girls, it’s just Rex that I have now & need help with.”

So please meet Rex who is a very amenable lad and so far has loved everyone he has met, and does not seem bothered with the other dogs. He will have his vaccinations restarted and once settled, be neutered.

Older children only as we do not know his history and unknown with cats.

Rex should fit into most homes experienced with GSD’s.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
