Riley was born May 2021 and was taken in by his current family from a lady who could not cope with him about a year ago. He is neutered and microchipped but his vaccinations will need bringing up to date. Being rehomed due to a lack of space with 3 young children and the owners not having the experience they need.

Riley has obviously not had the greatest start in life which his current owners have worked with. He is not aware of his size and personal space so a home without young children. Not had enough socialisation with other dogs, sometimes he ignores them, other times he will start lunging and other times he wants to play. He still needs more lead training as he is very strong and recall not established.

Riley’s shows stress habits where he pounces and scrabbles at the carpet and our volunteers felt this lad needs an experienced home with the time and space to help him learn how to be a dog and work further with his training and socialisation.  This poor lad does not have an ounce of deliberate malice in him but deserves a chance to be a dog.
