May I introduce River who is down on his microchip as a Shepsky but going on his size we think Great Dane is more likely! River is just 7 months old. He is entire but microchipped and his vaccinations have been restarted.

We were asked to take River in:

“I wonder if you have space for River a 7 month old GSD X (not sure what with) he is a BIG boy for 7 months and his paws suggest he’s got more growing to do?

Apparently last night at home, the son with ADHD has been repeatedly hitting the dog on the head and the dog has eventually bitten in the face minor injury. Good as gold with us this morning currently in our kennels. He’s a little cautious as one would expect but simply been walked on a lead and content to be assisted up into our van.”

River came to us within a couple of days and has been fine with everyone he has met, although more wary of men. Would not risk him with young children after his experience, but been great with all dogs he has met, including on a group walk he attended.

This lovely young man would benefit from living with an older dog to give him some guidance and confidence, but River is going to be a stunning lad, and just needs a settled home to learn to be a dog.

River, know known as Bruno, has been adopted.
