We were asked to take this boy under our wing but our first question was ‘does he come with a saddle’?!

Meet Rocco, he is micro chipped and still entire. He’s already started his vaccinations and also had a health check as he arrived with a sore eye and dry, flaky skin. He was a very good boy at the vets.
Rocco is a GSD cross and we are pretty sure that there’s some Chinese Red Dog in there along with a small pony!

This boy has the most fabulous nature, a bit of a doofus but this makes him more special.

He’s a big strong lad that needs some lead training but he’s slowly starting to accept the Dogmatic headcollar.

Rocco is very polite and he’s met lots of people, he’s clearly unaware of his size and strength especially when he’s giving out his bear hugs.

We have seen no issues around food, treats or toys and he has a good appetite.
As with all the pound dogs Rocco comes with no history so we have to say older children only that are used to large breed dogs.

We cannot cat test.

A suitable home for Rocco would be one that can handle this boy’s strength and give him the time and training that he requires.

Rocco really is a lovely boy, he’s kept his ‘puppy dog’ ears and he has the most cutest face. He’s already a firm favourite amongst the volunteers, here’s what one of them had to say about him.
