May I introduce Rocky who will be 4 in October. Currently entire but he is microchipped however vaccinations are out of date. Been in the same home since a pup and being rehomed due to a marriage breakdown. This is what our volunteer had to say about him:
“When visiting Rocky was initially in the kitchen with a chihuahua and a spaniel. When let into the sitting room he was very excitable barking and lunging, held by his owner. I felt this was more a case of being anxious as within a few minutes he was offering me his toys to play with and sitting on the sofa with me. He is very toy orientated. I had no trouble petting him and giving tummy rubs.
I took him for a walk with the owner. Rocky does pull but not excessively. He did bark and lunged at a lady walking towards him who wanted to pet him and a dog passing on the opposite side of the road. I feel this was more out of fear, anxiety and lack of training/socialisation.
Rocky is a handsome boy (teddy bear) and in the correct hands of an experienced GSD owner, and with proper training would make a great pet. He lives with 4 children aged from 3 months to 8 years. The owner did say he is bouncy and knocked them over whilst playing. I would suggest older children.
He is a well looked after dog and his coat is in good condition and he is fed on dry food.”
