Ruby is 4 years old. She is not spayed but we are told she is due a season in May. She is microchipped.

Ruby has been in the same home since a pup. We were contacted by local vets for help after she had been booked in to be put to sleep. Ruby had been living with a small dog and they were told that out of the blue she attacked it. There was a baby involved and we wonder if Ruby thought she was protecting the baby. Luckily the owners were happy to sign her over to the rescue.

Ruby had a bath as soon as he came in as her back was quite dry and flakey. Looks like she may have had a litter and she does not like being touched around her back end and tail. No problem with other large dogs and happily went for a walk with another GSD bitch.

No young children and no small dogs (to be safe) and no cats, however, Ruby is a super friendly and loving girl and just wants to be with people so a home where someone is about most of the time would suit her to the ground please.
