May I introduce Sadie. She is coming up to 4 years old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Sadie came from a pound and has proved to be quite a delight in the kennels. Has shown no issues in the kennels. As her history is unknown we would not rehome her with young children.

She is fine with other dogs and loves being mentally challenged. Would really enjoy agility or such.

Sadie was previously with another rescue and was rehomed to an older couple before Christmas for a short time. She came back for ‘biting’ legs but had never drawn blood or punctured. The kennels were very surprised as they had never seen any of this behaviour however discovered on her return that due to exuberance she started to nip at their trousers. Once she was told firmly no and that this was not acceptable it stopped.

Sadie will make a fabulous addition to an experienced home who can give her the boundaries she may well have missed out on previously.

Sadie is now settling in her new home.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
