May I introduce Saffron who is not a full GSD as you can see, and definitely not the size! This dear little girl came out of a small rescue who did not know what to do with her, telling us she was a GSD! Specsavers comes to mind!
Saffron is just 2 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. This is what the kennels have to say about her:
“Please meet and greet this dear little girl, cute as sixpence, extremely loving, very respectful of other dogs quite rare these days. I have shortened her name to Saffi. Someone has done a lot of training with her as she behaves beautifully and very playful. Walked through the cattery and she rolled over on her tummy in the walk way pawing one of the cat pens so think she has had a cat friend at some point. Very delightful little lady.”
Saffron, whilst no problem with the dogs at the kennels, when out on lead, she reacts very badly towards them. We believe this is due to an incident in the first home she went to, where she was attacked by another dog when on lead, and know is in the mindset of, I’ll get in there first. She has been in foster with a lot of dogs, and was dominant with the easy targets but responded well to a firm NO. With an experienced home we are sure she can be resocialised with other dogs gradually, but in the interim, best to have a muzzle on when out and about. Saffron does not like being left so needs a home where someone is around most of the time, and she really does want to be with you all the time.
Special home needed for this special girl please.
Saffron is in her new home.
