Another beauty, Sam, not yet neutered, we are told fully vaccinated with booster due in September, also chipped.

Sam’s owner told us he is a no around children of any age, unknown with dogs, cats or livestock.

Sam managed to get out of the garden and nip a neighbours arm to which the police attended and his owner was given a caution with no further action.

When out walking he does pull and does not have any recall but does seem to know his basic commands, with no possession issues with either food or toys.

Poor Sam is now having almost zero time spent with him due to working hours changing, he very rarely gets walked as owner is now scared to do so and I envisage all his hang ups just getting worse the longer he is there.

If you have GSD experience please consider giving this lad a chance, full rescue back up and support given.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
