Meet Skye, she is 4yrs old, sadly not yet spayed and was due a season in November so could be spayed mid February. She is fully vaccinated and chipped.

We are told she is not a fan of children especially little girls, she can be domineering with other dogs but seems better with smaller ones, unknown with cats or livestock.

She is a typical Shep when people arrive at the home and will bark, has shown some guarding around owner at a vet visit.

Will pull on lead but that is only further training, knows her basic commands, no possession seen around toys or food.

Skye will need an owner who will / can deal with her dominance issues but our assessor found her to be a friendly girl if you are confident.

Skye is being left for long periods and has understandably started to chew through boredom.

Skye has been found a new home by her owner – good luck lovely girl.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
