A responsible dog owner doesn’t wait until their pet becomes ill before registering with a vet or taking out insurance. Animals need annual vaccinations, and a trip to the vet to get boosters done also offers a good opportunity for a complete health check.
Pet insurance is an extremely important consideration for all dog owners. It will help guard against unexpected veterinary fees and allow you to provide the best health care for your dog. There are a number of different policies and providers to choose from, but not all pet insurance is the same. Some policies limit the amount of time or money that you can claim and this is why we recommend that you don’t choose a policy based on price alone. You should also consider Third Party Liability cover in case your dog causes an accident.
German Shepherd Rescue Elite work with Agria Pet Insurance, and if adopted from us, your new family member will come to you with 5 weeks free insurance, regardless of age (and subject to terms and conditions of course) which will automatically be activated for you once you have adopted. Agria Pet Insurance is one of the few insurance companies that offers Lifetime Cover for older dogs adopted through partner rescues. Insurance can be continued with Agria after the initial free period, but there is no obligation.
If our adopters extend this free cover to a full policy, 10% commission will be paid to German Shepherd Rescue Elite for dogs under the age of 10, and 5% for dogs over the age of 10. Yes! They will insure older dogs as well!!
