Introducing this little fella who goes by the name of Triton.
Triton arrived into our care via the stray pound after he had been picked up by the warden.

We believe that he is under a year old, he’s chipped and started his vaccinations.
Triton is in good health and he is understandably very energetic and full of beans.
This little boy is quite obedient and learns very quickly, he is also very eager to please and thrives on praise. He would need an active home and lifestyle to keep him engaged.

Whist Triton has been out walking we have seen him attempt to chase vehicles, with a correction this issue is now starting to ease.
Triton has shown that he has a good focus on toys, he has no aggression and will give up his toy quite easily however he does attempt to grab but again with a correction this is improving.

Triton is a good-natured boy who seems to like everyone he’s met so far but when he’s out and about he will drop close to the floor and stalk if he sees someone approach – no aggression is shown.

We would love to find an experienced Mali home for this boy as he has got lots of potential and in the right hands he would exceed at most things, he’s very bright and willing to learn.

Triton may live with another dog, we don’t think he’s seen many so far so he does lack social skills, he would be a definite no to cats and we wouldn’t place him with young children due to the fact that we have no background history.

Triton is now a licensed Prison Dog.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
