Trustie is available for adoption through GSRE – He is currently in rescue kennels after being found by bailiffs, abandoned, whilst they were repossessing a property. Due to this, very limited details are known about this poor boy.
Trustie is believed to be in the region of 18 months to 3 years old. He is a semi-length black haired, German Shepherd. He is not currently micro-chipped and his vaccination/neutering status is unknown.
Trustie’s reaction to children, dogs, cats and livestock is unknown although he has been trying to get into the cattery in the kennels and has reacted (barking etc) at other kennel dogs. He was very strong on the lead but hasn’t been walked outside of the kennel environment and was busy barking at other kennel dogs, so his true nature in relation to that is not known. The kennel staff have said that he was nervous when he first arrived with them but has now settled down a little and appears to have a sweet nature.
Trustie has been described by the GSRE assessor as being a beautiful looking boy who seems to be good with people. He was a little stressed due to being in kennels for only 5 days when evaluated but showed his soft and cuddly side to the assessor. He appeared in good condition and will sit when asked.
Trustie has been rehomed by the organisation who saved him after he was abandoned in an empty house – Well done guys.
