This lovely girl is Willow. Willow originally came to us from a pound so very little was initially known about her. Since she was with us we in kennels, we found her to be very friendly with all people she met, great with kids and ‘interested’ in the pussy cats! She is fine with other dogs but will be the more dominant one in pair so this will need to be watched. She loves to play ball and has good recall. Willow is fully vaccinated and microchipped. No season history is known for her at present.

Willow went into foster in a family environment and this is what foster mum had to say about her:

“Willow is in foster with 4 children and three dogs, males and females. She is a great GSD. Clean in the house, quiet at night, good with other dogs, likes children, good with horses. She’s responsive, very focused on her person. She is a bright girl who has good recall and basic training. A lovely girl waiting for her forever home, can be homed alone or with another dog/bitch.”

However we now suspect she may have been in a domestic abuse situation as Willow became very protective of mum and children in regards to dad! Willow is now in a different foster home where she has actually bonded with dad so she definitely needs a confident male leader in her life!
