May I introduce Otis who is not a full shepherd but almost there. He is 3 years and still entire. He is not up to date with his vaccinations but is microchipped.

His owner is currently working long hours which means Otis is not getting the training or exercise he desperately needs as he is too strong for his owner’s partner. It also means he can be quite boisterous around the children.

Otis would be best in an adult home. We are told he is good with other large dogs but does not like small dogs or cats.

Otis is a full on lad. When people visit he can be quite intimidating and vocal and mouths their hands. He has never bitten anyone.

All Otis needs is an experienced  and confident home who can give him the training and exercise this poor lad so desperately needs and instil some boundaries. Underneath the bravado is a sweet natured lad. Can you help him please?

Otis is now with his new family.

Otis who was renamed Brize has passed over Rainbow Bridge having developed Lymphona very suddenly.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
