Looking for a forever home for this beautiful Alaskan Malamute. She is 2 1/2 years old, good with other dogs, children but no cats or small animals.  Having said that she is fine with small dogs like Jack Russells.  She is small, weighing in at only 26.5 kilos, does not pull on the lead like a typical Malamute and is very loving.  She is strong willed though and will need a good leader.  Koda is very intelligent and eager to please but can be stubborn.  She travels well in the car and just lies down and goes to sleep.  She has had a new course of vaccinations and is also microchipped.  She is in foster care at the moment and will be spayed prior to adoption.  She has come into Rescue through no fault of her own. Due to a change in her family’s circumstances they were no longer able to keep her.  Experience of this breed would be a real benefit.

The gorgeous Koda has found her new home!

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
