What I can I say about this lovely lad. Ben is 7 years old. He is entire and we are told microchipped, but not seen a vet in a very long time so vaccinations are out of date. Ben started life on a travellers site and due to changes in circumstances has been from pillar to post quite a bit in his life. His mum is now homeless and going back to family abroad and is unable to take Ben due to the costs. He is currently staying with a friend.

Ben is wary of new people at first but no aggression. He is good with children of all ages however he does not like being touched around his tail or back legs so older children only. No problems with other dogs but unknown with cats. Ben walks nicely on a lead and has basic commands. No issues over food or toys.

Ben is quite weak on his back end but this is mainly due to muscle wastage which they are trying to rebuild with regular walks now. This lovely lad deserves a retirement home where he will get the time and tlc  he is entitled to please.

Ben is currently staying with a lady called Louisa who takes on dogs while they are looking for homes. She has said that Ben is good with other dogs, good with children and doesn’t have any issues regarding food aggression.  She said: “I can’t fault him”.

Ben has been rehomed by his owner.
